Brandi Lowery has been a member of Whiskey University since September 2022. She has earned the title of “Master Bourbon Taster” and has earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Whiskey University with a major in Tennessee Whiskey Region. However, Brandi has not stopped there, not only does she teach at Whiskey University, but she is still expanding her education of whiskey through classes and seminars.

Brandi is a practicing family law attorney in Houston, Texas where she represents sexual assault survivors. She is also an author of a cocktail book, “The Barrister’s Book of Old Fashioneds and Other Cocktails.” Brandi has been featured on several local, state, and national tv stations promoting her book.

Brandi was born in January 1980 in Dallas, Texas. She has a 9 year old shih-poo fur baby named Freeway Jackson Lowery, who loves to be spoiled and cuddled. Brandi earned her Bourbon Diploma in October 2022 and is continuing her pursuit of whiskey knowledge. Brandi is also an Executive Bourbon Steward with the Stave & Thief Society.

Brandi has a deep love for Old Fashioned cocktails, but her curiosity didn't stop at the drink itself, she wanted to explore the spirit at its core. Fueled by her passion for history and an insatiable desire to learn more about whiskey and bourbon, she discovered Whiskey University.
